V-Infinity introduces a new series of point of load dc-dc converters intended for a range of DPA architecture applications. Available in 5, 10, and 15 A versions, the non-isolated VSNS series offers efficiencies of up to 94%, while operating within a temperature range of -40 to 85 °C. The low profile SIP units are compact, measuring 22.9 x 13.9 x 8.6mm in the 5 A models. Surface mount versions are also available.

The VSNS series accepts an input of 5 V or 12 V with output voltages ranging from 1.0 to 5.0 V. Trimmable output voltage is available via an external resistor. Features include remote on/off, output over current protection, and over temperature protection. OEM pricing starts at $8.65 per unit.
