V-Infinity Power
By Kraig Kawada
This paper addresses how digital power management solutions can help solve many complex design challenges facing power engineers today.
By Don Li and Jeff Schnabel
Switched Mode Power Supplies (SMPS) generate Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) by virtue of their inherent design characteristics. This paper examines the rules and regulations governing control of EMI, discusses types of noise generated by SMPS, and provides basic guidance for EMI mitigation for SMPS, whether installed in other equipment as part of a larger system or a SMPS designed for stand-alone applications.
Motion Control
Compared to the technology most commonly used in rotary encoders today, capacitive encoding holds many advantages over optical encoding, which will be discussed in greater detail in the attached document.
