V-Infinity introduces a new series of compact dc-dc converters with 3kV isolation. These units are designed for applications that require high voltage isolation, including medical apps. Measuring 1.25”x0.8”x0.4”, the VAD series features a 24 pin dip pinout and operates with an efficiency up to 82%.

The units are available in single and dual output versions with 2:1 or 4:1 input ranges. They are rated from 3 to 7.5 watts in 3.3 to 15 V single output models and ±5 to ±15 V dual output models. Trimmable output voltage is available via an external resistor. Features include remote on/off control with an operating temperature of -25° to 70° C, and short circuit protection.
