WHO WE ARE
We are more than just a collection of people running a business. We are people with a simple vision - that of helping our customers. As an importer and distributor of electronics components, we are here to help the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the design engineer. They can benefit from knowledge we have gained through more than 30 years experience in international electronics parts procurement. We hope to "raise the bar" for service, integrity and forthrightness, when dealing not only with customers, but also with suppliers and employees. This is, in effect, an attempt to run the business with the aim of glorifying God in all that we do. How?
First, by recognizing that all that we have - our business, and even life itself - is a gift.
Second, by attempting to run the business by standards that are above those of the world: the laws of God.
Third, by learning to be a blessing to others.
Accordingly, the company is committed to building meaningful one-on-one relationships based on sharing and mutual benefit. This idea is used in selecting employees and suppliers, in creating new products and services, and in finding and retaining customers. By successful collaboration, the company has become profitable. This also enables the company to allocate profit to help the community, and in some cases, the economically weak. By honoring God in all that we do, we are also helping to make our community a better place to live.
CUI supports the PGE Green energy program and promotes recycling. It assists local organizations such as Victorious Living Ministries, Young Life, Blanket Coverage, Pregnancy Resource Centers, Friends of the Children, and Medical Teams International. CUI also contributes to the International Christian Leprosy Mission and Empower Africa, a program that assists orphanages and churches.
WHAT WE DO
CUI was formed in April 1989 by James McKenzie to design, manufacture, and distribute electronic components to OEMs and the design engineer. The company concentrates on two major market segments:
- Components - power supplies, transformers, speakers, buzzers, converters and connectors
- Industrial control and power devices (encoders and industrial power devices)
CUI continually invests in programs and technologies to benefit its customers and assist engineers. An ever-increasing selection of easily downloadable drawings and specifications is offered on our website, as well as GlobalSpec and EEM. In 2001, we began an in-house quality control program and will be able to provide a broad range of detailed testing and status reports. We also offer JIT, value-added, specialized packaging, and custom service programs. Our staff offers engineering support, agency compliance, and design-in assistance. We do all this because we consider our dealings with each customer a unique opportunity for sharing our resources as we work together for mutual success.
