CUI Devices today announced the addition of a new family of low profile speakers to their Components product line. The CDM series ranges from 10 mm to 20 mm in diameter with depths as low as 2.9 mm. These speakers are ideal for applications requiring a low profile design in the consumer electronics and mobile equipment space. 

CDM series features include Mylar cones for increased durability, spring contacts for ease in manufacturing, and metal frames. Sound pressure levels range from 72 db up to 78 dB at 1 meter.  Input power required to drive the speakers remains low and ranges from 0.2 W to 0.5 W.  All models are RoHS compliant.
