CUI Appoints Vice President of Global Sales

To better serve the complex needs of CUI's quickly growing global OEM customer base, CUI recently added Steve Mathis as Vice President of Global Sales, to the CUI executive team. Steve brings a deep understanding of the networking, industrial, medical and telecommunications markets thanks to his diverse background in the power industry.

Prior to joining CUI, Steve served as Director of Sales for Bel Power. Previous to his position at Bel, Steve held sales leadership positions at Ericsson and Synqor.

CUI Supports the Next Generation of Engineers

CUI has once again partnered with FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), an international, K-12 not-for-profit organization dedicated to inspiring young people's interest and participation in science and technology.

The latest technology put into hands of students is CUI's AMT103-V encoder kits for the FIRST Robotics Competition playing field. The 2016 FIRST Robotics Competition Kit of Parts was distributed to more than 3,100 teams of high school students earlier this year.

4 mm x 4 mm CMT-4023S-SMT Micro Buzzer Series among the Smallest in the Industry

Ideal for portable equipment applications, CUI's 4 mm x 4 mm micro buzzer is housed in a compact, surface mount package. It features a low profile of 2 mm while carrying an SPL of 70 dB. Using magnetic technology, the CMT-4023S-SMT has a rated voltage of 3 V and a rated frequency of 4 kHz, with an operating temperate range of -20~70℃. Externally driven, the CMT‑4023S‑SMT is suitable for use in designs requiring reflow solder assembly for high-volume production.

Low-profile 15 W and 25 W Isolated Dc-Dc Converters

When efficiency is of prime concern and board space is limited, our 1" x 1" PRD15 and PRD25 series with 15 W and 25 W isolated output are ideal replacements for larger 1" x 2" modules. The PRD15 series features a 4:1 input voltage range of 9~36 or 18~75 Vdc, while the PRD25 series provides a 2:1 input voltage range from 36~75 Vdc. Target applications for series include microcontrollers, datacom, telecom, remote sensor systems and portable electronics.
