CUI introduces a new addition to its miniature pressure sensor line: the SF series. The SF series is a smaller and thinner version of the IESF-R series pressure sensors, but it has the same outstanding characteristics. The proprietary rubber material of these sensors is extremely elastic and conductive and allows extremely fine and continuous degrees of variable resistance.

The SF Flexible Board sensor is fastened with strong, double-sided, pressure-sensitive tape, which mounts easily to curved surfaces. It is available with two AWG28, lead wires and a 2P receptacle, 2.5mm (0.098”) pitch, per JST 02HR-6S plug. It requires 3-6 VDC and can handle up to 5mA current, which is sufficient to drive an LED. Standard models are only .94mm thick and 2.9mm, 3.9mm, 4.9mm and 5.9mm square. Custom sizes and shapes are available upon request.
