AMT31 Series
28 mm, 48 ~ 4096 PPR, Commutation, Capacitive Modular Encoder


CUI's AMT31 Series is a rugged, high accuracy encoder that generates standard U/V/W signals for commutating brushless dc motors. The series is designed to address a number of challenges encountered in BLDC applications. Thanks to the innovative AMT platform, the series is not susceptible to contaminants such as dirt, dust, and oil that typically plague encoders in industrial environments. The AMT's design also simplifies the assembly process, removing the need to conduct back-EMF, and allowing a number of parameters to be set via GUI or the encoder's serial interface, including pole count, commutation angle and zero position. Combined with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 105°C, high accuracy, a compact package, and low current draw, the AMT provides a compelling solution for a range of industrial, automation, robotics, and renewable energy applications.
