CUI to Exhibit at APEC 2017

At the upcoming Applied Power Electronics Conference (APEC) 2017, CUI will be demonstrating their latest Software Defined Power® hardware solutions as a part of the partnership with Virtual Power Systems (VPS).

The ICE (Intelligent Control of Energy) system is a software and hardware platform developed by CUI and VPS that leverages existing infrastructure to optimize power utilization within data centers. The booth will feature a Software Defined Power kiosk with a live demo highlighting the system’s peak shaving and dynamic redundancy capabilities.

“We are thrilled to be presenting the ICE hardware and software ecosystem in partnership with VPS at APEC 2017,” stated Mark Adams, CUI’s Senior VP. “APEC has always been the leading event for advancements in power electronics, which is why we believe this is the perfect venue to demonstrate the next layer of intelligence outside of traditional power supply design with our Software Defined Power solution.”

CUI’s booth will also feature its diverse portfolio of industrial power products and Level VI and CoC Tier 2 compliant external power adapters, while also highlighting the company’s custom power capabilities.

APEC is the premier event for Applied Power Electronics™. The conference focuses on the practical and applied aspects of the power electronics industry, and will be held at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Florida from the March 26-30 2017.
