Sanmina to Highlight Software Defined Power® at Data Center World with CUI and Virtual Power Systems

CUI and Virtual Power Systems (VPS) today announced the planned exhibition of their Intelligent Control of Energy® (ICE) platform at the upcoming Data Center World 2018 expo in San Antonio, Texas from March 12-15. The ICE system, which will be on display at integration partner Sanmina’s booth (#519), is a hardware and software solution that leverages existing infrastructure to optimize power utilization within data centers.

Sanmina, a global leader in IT and data center infrastructure solutions, will be showcasing CUI’s ICE Block and ICE Switch system hardware, along with VPS’ full suite of ICE software capabilities. CUI’s hardware which employs peak shaving and dynamic redundancy principals to free-up redundant and underutilized power supply capacity within data centers is paired with VPS’ software that enables tracking, managing, and monitoring of power usage to automatically reallocate power based on capacity and availability demands.  Representatives from CUI and VPS will be present to discuss the value proposition of the system with show attendees.

Data Center World is an industry leading event for data center, facilities, and IT infrastructure professionals that draws upon the expertise of more than 3,500 AFCOM members. The exhibition will be held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas from March 12-15, 2018.
