CUI Becomes Exclusive Hardware Designer in Expanded VPS Partnership

CUI has entered into an agreement to be the exclusive third party hardware design and development provider for Virtual Power Systems (VPS), a cutting-edge Software Defined Power® company. This agreement further expands the previously announced partnership between CUI and VPS, as both continue to set a new standard for an efficient Software Defined Power® infrastructure. CUI is now VPS's sole design partner of hardware for their ICE (Intelligent Control of Energy) solution.

New Products

10 W Ac-Dc Power Supplies with Integrated USB Connector

CUI's new line of wall plug-in, ac-dc power supplies feature an integrated USB connector, fixed and interchangeable ac blade options, and some of the smallest packages of their kind. The 10 W SMI10-USB, SWI10-N-USB, and SWI10-E-USB series are all designed to meet the stringent average efficiency and no-load power requirements mandated by the US Department of Energy (DoE) Level VI standards and the European Union's proposed January 2018 CoC Tier 2 directive.

4 mm to 9 mm SMT Micro Buzzers

Ideal for a range of portable equipment applications, CUI's magnetic and piezo transducer micro buzzers are housed in compact, surface-mount packages ranging from 4 mm x 4 mm to 9 mm x 9 mm. The buzzers feature low profiles starting at 1.9 mm and sound pressure levels from 65 dB up to 80 dB at 10 cm.
