Description

The compact, open frame VXO78-1000 non-isolated dc-dc converter series, suited for positive or negative output applications, has been designed to offer a high performance alternative to linear regulators. Utilizing switching technology, this series is footprint compatible with TO-220 package LM78XX and LM79XX model regulators. Unlike linear regulators, the VXO78-1000 dc switching regulator series is extremely efficient up to 96% and does not require a heat sink, making it ideal for applications where board space is at a premium and maximizing energy efficiency is a concern.
